This mount moves the links up to a more traditional location and gets the servo low. The link mount is machined so the servo/battery plate sits at a slanted up angle. This keeps the servo at the same angle as the lower links at full extension. No servo hanging down when you need that critical ground clearance. This way your servo won’t hang up when cresting breakovers. The servo sits on one side of the driveshaft and the battery on the other. The battery tray has a hinged skid for easy battery removal.
Caution: this is a builders part. It will take some creativity to get the upper links and servo horn to clear.
The aluminum mounts are hand machined by a friend in the hobby. They take a lot of manual labor and the price reflects this. You are paying for a hand machined in the US piece.
